Swine Research Days

Paris (France) - February 7-8, 2012


The 44th Swine Research Days are co-organised by INRA and the French Technical Institute for Pig Production. They facilitate the circulation of research results having direct applications in the industry, in order to contribute to the competitiveness of the sector while meeting society's demands: respect for the environment and animal well-being and food safety of products proposed to consumers.

 
 

The Research Swine Days will be opened by Michel Bonneau from the Joint Research Unit of Livestock Systems, Animal and Human Nutrition (INRA Research Centre of Rennes).
More than 80 presentations will be given during the following sessions:

  • Genetics and product quality
  • Animal health
  • Environment
  • Feeding
  • Economics and sociology
  • Animal welfare, reproduction and management
