Inra Teagasc, 2009-2011

Teagasc and INRA invite applications from research teams from both organizations for two year research projects.

The call is open to proposals in two fields:
- Sustainability of livestock production: economic, technical and environmental aspects and their interactions.
- Milk and nutrition: gut, gastro-intestinal microflora, milk processing, and their interactions.

INRA and TEAGASC will prioritise projects that take full advantage of the collaboration between the French and Irish teams.
Exchange of scientific staff between the partner institutions will be encouraged. A special emphasis should be placed on participation and mobility of young scientists, as well as on cross-stays of longer periods (> 2 months) of researchers between the Irish Units and the French Units participating in the joint projects.
