For INRA, the main thematic priorities were:
- food quality and safety (Priority 5);
- modernisation and sustainability of agriculture and sylviculture, evaluation tools and methods for sustainable management of agriculture and logging, and new production methods which respect the environment to a wider extent, thus improving the health and well-being of animals in line with EU policies (Priority 8.1);
- life sciences, genomics and biotechnology for health (Priority 1);
- global changes and ecosystems (Priority 6.3).
INRA research teams submitted 393 proposals as partners or coordinators of projects, 165 of which were financed by the European Commission, which represented a success rate of 42%.
The FP6 enabled INRA to pursue and develop partnerships with other European research organisations. The main member countries with whom INRA established partnerships are the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Italy. |
