CrossTalk EU project to study the role of human digestive flora

CrossTalk, a new network for human metagenomics research training, has a twofold objective: to participate in building the European knowledge society, and to gain a better understanding of the role of human intestinal flora in health. Launched on 29 April 2009, CrossTalk is a four-year project that will allow 17 junior researchers from 9 European countries to work and receive training in research teams at the INRA Jouy-en-Josas centre. The CrossTalk network is coordinated by INRA Jouy-en-Josas. It counts 8 academic partners and 2 private partners from the food industry.

The project falls under the "People" theme of FP7, which is dedicated to the training and mobility of researchers under the Marie Curie Actions of the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development.
