Research contracts are the preferred legal context for research carried out in partnership. The work programme is defined jointly, in line with objectives that you will define.
Each side contributes its specific skills and requirements, and the research contract lays down the agreement in line with the specificities of both parties with respect to confidentiality, intellectual property and publications.
Such collaborative agreements are usually relatively long; between 1 and 3 years.
Operating costs depend on the content of the programme (salaries, equipment, functioning) and the contribution of each partner.
The ownership of results will be discussed openly with INRA specialists.
