Genetic Resource Collections

INRA has developed a large number of plant, microbial and animal genetic resource collections. As a public research organisation, one of its responsibilities is to help preserve biodiversity. Its mission to manage genetic resources is consistent with the national French strategy coordinated by the Bureau of Genetic Resources and in accordance with national agreements. INRA participates in the creation of biological resource centres.
