International Centre for Microbial Resources (CIRM)


The International Centre for Microbial Resources is designed to preserve microbial biodiversity. It has a collection of more than 15,000 strains situated in five different sites. Managed by INRA, the International Centre for Microbial Resources associates different partners: AgroParisTech, the Universities of Provence and the Mediterranean, Agrocampus Ouest and the University of Angers.
