2007 was a prolific year for INRA. It was marked both by developments in all the Institute’s areas of competence – agriculture, food and nutrition and the environment – and by its ability to take action in response to society’s needs and to the changes which took place during 2007.
In 2007, INRA successfully completed the first stages of its 2006-2009 objectives, maintained its 2nd rank for publications in the field of agricultural research and increased its attractiveness for young researchers. While maintaining its goals of a mission-oriented research organisation, INRA has positioned itself through its alliance with CIRAD to become a significant actor on the international scene.
